When: July 2016
Where: We stayed at the top of Seminyak near Canggu beach, walking distance to Potato Head Beach Club, Finns and KU-DE-TA.
What: My maiden voyage to Bali! It’s probably a cliche to sit at a beach club by a pool and relax with cocktails, but when you need a break I can definitely handle some beach side / pool side relaxation for a few days.
Why: Its that pointy end of the working year where you start hankering for summer holidays, and a chance to relax with a nice drink! Not to mention the weather has been lovely and warm. Bring on summer!
Who: A classic girls trip this time. Eating, drinking and shopping. All the things The Artist isn’t in to!
When: April 2016 for 1 day.
Why: Just a quick stop over between the ‘Big Island’ and our flight home. It had a great buzz, I’d love to go back and spend more time in Waikiki and explore the island of Ohahu.
What: All we managed in one afternoon was lunch at the beach and a trip to the mall!
When: October 2014
What: Yangshuo in the Guillin area of China was my favourite stop on our 3 week tour. I loved our cruise down the Li River as well as our day bike riding and rafting!
Who: Me, the Peaches girls, new friends on our Essential China G Adventures Tour!
When: I’ve been twice, lucky me, winter and summer! With the temperature a cool 5 degrees I’m reminiscing of being there Christmas 2014.
What: We stayed in a cabin at Bass Lake, then drove into Yosemite NP for day trips around the valley floor, Mariposa Grove to see the Sequoias and the ski fields. We lit the fire by night!
Who: Christmas with The Artist. Loved our cosy cabin in the woods.
Where: Busselton, Western Australia
When: 4 weeks ago!
Who: With an awesome roadtripping team. Instagram fiends I tell you.
Why: I miss those glorious west coast sunsets. We have been having some lovely pink sunsets over the mountains (and apartment blocks – sad face) and I keep thinking of how lovely it was seeing it every night over the Indian Ocean. Photographers dream!
What: Sipping Vanilla Tea while meandering through the tea plantations in the Cameron Highlands…
Who: Crazy Crew of my G Adventures tour
When: October 2013
What: Riding in Gondolas/Chair Lifts. With the weather grey and drizzly, it makes me think of being warm and snug. Which lead me to think of Autumn in North America, looking at all my favourite fashion bloggers awesome Autumn outfits. Then I thought of crisp mountain air as I rode chairlifts. Chairlifts – my 2nd favourite mode of transport. Tuk Tuks, I think you’re number 1.
When: Northern Hemisphere Autumn! I always seem to do big trips in September.
Where: Banff, Lake Louise, Switzerland
Who: The last trip to the Canadian Rockies with The Artist.
